VETS2017

Veteran Entrepreneur Training Symposium (VETS)

June 10 - 14, 2018 in Williamsburg VA, is a Business Development Conference created by Veterans for Veterans.

Created by Veterans for Veterans, VETS connects you with Federal agencies, prime contractors, and other business owners, who can help you find work in the Federal marketplace. VETS brings together Federal agencies, prime contractors, and Veteran business owners to discuss how to take full advantage of the Federally mandated contracting opportunities set aside specifically for Veteran-owned small businesses.

Ask a real question, get a candid answer. VETS provides you the information and strategies you need to maximize your efforts and avoid pitfalls when dealing with the Federal government.

VETS brings together Federal agencies, Prime contractors, and Veterans to network and discuss how to take full advantage of the Federally mandated contracting opportunities set aside for Veteran-owned small businesses. For over 20 years various Veteran small business groups have achieved success in advocating for Veterans to be seen as a viable force in the Federal government acquisition landscape.

Beginning with the enactment of Public Law 106-50 in 1998, the nation began to understand the earned benefit of honorable military service and Veterans continuing to serve their nation through entrepreneurship and selling goods and services to the Federal government. Unfortunately the Federal government continues to fall short of the acquisition goals mandated by Congress. VETS provides a platform for all stakeholders to get closer to these goals and support our Veteran small businesses.

Can you afford not to be there?

Welcome

DSC 6069Dear Attendee,

The mission of the National Veteran Small Business Coalition (NVSBC) is to transition Veterans into business owners. VETS2014 is designed to do just that. Our goal is to build capacity in the Veteran and Service-disabled Veteran-owned small business community to help the Federal government and large business prime contractors meet and exceed the mandated goals. This can only happen with a strong and vibrant Veteran small business community. The NVSBC is pleased to again join forces with AetherQuest Solutions, a Veteran-owned small business, to host VETS2014 in Reno, Nevada, June 16-19, 2014.

We will build on the success of previous VETS to host an intimate forum of Government and industry leaders as well as successful Veteran small business owners to shorten the learning curve and bring the next generation of Veteran small business owners success in the Federal marketplace. Each symposium has grown based on the success of the past and this year will be no different.

The NVSBC understands the Federal marketplace is changing due to shrinking budgets and the changing missions of agencies. We intend to bring you the latest on how these trends may impact your business and identify ways to protect your business from these trends. Attendance at VETS2014 will be limited to ensure the intimate atmosphere and ability to engage experts during the sessions and throughout the event. Our goal is not to host the biggest veteran business conference, only the best!

We hope you will join us in Reno to grow your business, network with other Veteran business owners, agency and prime contractor representatives, and show all the Veteran business movement is alive and well.

SEE YOU IN RENO!!

Scott Denniston, Executive Director
National Veteran Small Business Coalition (NVSBC)

VETS 2018 is focused on one thing—the success of your Veteran-owned Small Business. Will you be a part of the conversation?
